"The 2023 Grüner Veltliner Schütt Smaragd roots in deep, weathered gneiss deposited by the Mentalgraben gully, benefitting from cool airflows. A touch of citrus accompanies the fern notes of the nose and brings even more green, savory foliage. That lovely green, yeasty gentleness is even more present on the stony body, which has a distinct note of wet pebble. Lovely depth, stoniness, quiet understatement, really straight.
