"The 2021 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Saint-Georges 1er Cru has a very harmonious and delineated bouquet with a mixture of red and black fruit, touches of blood orange and blue fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with saturated tannins, well balanced with fleshy ripe fruit, focused and tensile with a beautifully composed finish that lingers on the finish. Excellent."

"20 barrels from 2ha is quite a respectable yield for 2021. A lovely quite deep purple colour. There is a beautiful bouquet here, the floral side of deep plums. This has all the weight it should have with a striking elegance too. The finely wrought muscles of a dancer these days, less bodybuilder says Thibault, who never lacks for interesting images."

"This is an epic wine in the cellar of Thibault Liger-Belair, tannic, powerful and deep. The fruit character is dark plum and blackberry with hints of smoke, leather, and cigar leaf. The texture is dense and tannic; the finish is long. Every aspect of this is substantial, yet it retains the elegance to appear perhaps even more sophisticated than the Clos Vougeot. In my opinion, it is certainly on the level of the grand cru wines."
