"This is even more floral-suffused with its nose of petrol, lemon rind and soft wood. The rich and quite generously proportioned middleweight flavors coat the palate with dry extract while exuding a more subtle bead of minerality on the balanced, lingering and citrus-tinged finish. Once again this is sufficiently forward to allow for good early drinkability yet should have no trouble repay a decade plus of keeping."

"The 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet Chenevottes 1er Cru has a focused and precise nose, though it has the unenviable task of following the flattering Abbaye de Morgeot. There is a strictness here. The palate is fresh on the entry, quite sapid with touches of dried honey mixed with orange rind and light walnut notes towards the finish. Give this 3-4 years in bottle. Serious Chassagne!"

"Three plots, one by the stop sign on the main road, one in the middle in a cooler spot in a dip, and one higher up by Vergers, together providing an average age of 50 years. A fine pale primrose colour, with immediately quite generous yellow fruit. Plenty of weight here, matched by good acidity, makes one salivate, a lovely blend of the stony side of white Burgundy and ripe fruit. Notably long finish."
