"The 2015 Spécial Club Rosé de Saignée is one of the best wines I have ever tasted from Cédric Moussé, maybe the best. Exotic notes of rose petal, star anise, blood orange and mulling spices are utterly captivating. The 2015 is every bit as appealing on the palate, where it offers striking purity of fruit and fabulous balance. Rich, vinous and absolutely delicious, the 2015 is a winner. The Spécial Club Rosé de Saignée is an unusual 100% Meunier from Les Bouts de la Ville lieu-dit in Cuisles. I would give it a few more months in bottle to be at its best. Dosage is 2 grams per liter.

"Disgorged in March 2019, Moussé's 2015 Extra-Brut Rosé de Saignée Special Club Les Bouts de la Ville is showing superbly, wafting from the glass with an inviting bouquet of raspberries, red apples, blood orange, rhubarb and subtle hints of warm spices. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, vinous and textural, with an enveloping attack, a ripe and fleshy core and a long, perfumed finish. This 100% Pinot Meunier cuvée saw 120 hours of cold maceration before pressing and fermentation, so it's quite deeply hued this year."
