"The 2020 Vosne-Romanée Les Petits Monts 1er Cru has a fresh bouquet with a discreet sea influence. Japanese wakame hints infuse the red fruit, and hints of wilted rose petals come through with time. Aromatically, it is engaging and absorbing. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit and fine delineation. This structured Premier Cru manages to retain refinement and precision. An underlying mineralité is a constant throughout this wine, and it feels very persistent on the finish. Superb. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting."
