Here too there is a mentholated top note to the relatively deeply pitched nose of black cherry, spice and a pretty floral nuance. The delicious, lilting and appealingly textured flavors possess good verve while exuding a subtle minerality on the lingering finish where the only reproach is a touch of warmth. While too ripe to be completely classic, this is still a wine of finesse and delicacy even in a vintage like 2018.
