(Domaine Jean-Claude Bachelet Chassagne-Montrachet "Les Encégnières" Villages White) At the risk of sounding like a broken record, this is also firmly reduced though the reductive funk contrasts markedly with the bright and fresh middleweight flavors that are less mineral-driven but are even denser and clearly more powerful, indeed it is not an exaggeration to describe it as a smaller-scaled Bâtard. This is absolutely terrific for its level and highly recommended. (Drink starting 2029)  91-93 points

(Domaine Jean-Claude Bachelet Chassagne-Montrachet les Encegnières White) The 2021 Chassagne-Montrachet les Encegnières has a slightly heavier reduction on the nose that makes it difficult to read. The palate is full of energy and tension, yellow fruit mixed with pop corn and even hints of white chocolate, quite persistent and saline on the finish. Delicious, but give it a couple of years in bottle. (Drink between 2025-2036)  (90-92) points

(Chassagne-Montrachet Les Encégnières, Domaine Jean-Claude Bachelet & Fils, White) As much lime as lemon in the colour. The nose follows the reductive path of all the wines in this cellar in 2021. Really quite elegant though afterwards in the mouth, with a mineral acidity which defines the second half of the wine, adding relief to a softly ripe fruit. Drink from 2025-2030.  90-93 points
