Very pure, lovely fruit - rich plum and blackberry, this is juicy with velvety tannins. It has good acidity, and a dry, savoury finish with quite serious tannins. Great balance and freshness here.

"The all-destemmed 2019 Cotes du Rhone mixes cherries and black cherries with delicate hints of dried herbs on the nose, while the medium to full-bodied palate is quite firm and structured, with a soft dusting of tannins on the finish. To me, it's very much a wine to pair with rare beef or lamb off the grill."

(Domaine Jean-paul, Corinne & Loïc Jamet Côtes-du-rhône Red) "Spice-accented black/blue fruits, olive and floral qualities on the nose and in the mouth. In a fleshy, open-knit style, showing good depth as well as energy. Finishes on a repeating floral note, with rounded tannins and a sweet touch of cola." (89-91) points
