This vintage was a gift for Napa Valley winemakers, and Jean Hoefliger wrapped it up with a pretty bow in this high-scoring Cabernet. Rich in red fruit, savory spice, and a dash of black pepper, it’s a beautiful expression of the region. Dark-plum and cherry flavors arrive on a smooth, round body with sweet, well-integrated tannins and loads of complexity. It may be a splurge for some, but it’s a steal at this price.
