Nestled in the shadow of the Sainte-Victoire massif, the vineyard of Château Pigoudet is the northernmost of Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence, its protected designation of origin. With its 40 hectares of vines, facing south, 400 meters above sea level, it enjoys an exceptional situation that contributes greatly to the success of its harvest. Its late harvests, the last of Provence, made at nightfall, mark the two traits of its wines: freshness and maturity.
Campo alle Comete - Bolgheri Stupore, Tuscany 2016
Wine Spectator 94 - "Intense and pure, with a beam of black cherry, wild herbs and spice piercing a dark abyss of finely wrought tannins. Terrific acidity keeps this fresh and focused, while the finish evokes chocolate, ripe fruit, spice and mineral notes. Merlot, Syrah, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Best from 2020 through 2032. 6,500 cases made, 650 cases imported."

Catena Zapata - D.V. Zapata, Malbec Blend,
Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina 2019
The DV Zapata is a special assemblage of High Mountain Estate Vineyards made by fourth generation vintner, Laura Catena and chief winemaker, Alejandro Vigil. Through decades of study and exploration within Mendoza's high altitude mountain terroirs, the Catena family has identified special locations for its Estate vineyards. From the marriage of these historic vineyards emerges a wine of unique character that has natural balance, concentration and a distinct varietal identity. I like to think of this as Bordeaux meets Argentina. We love this wine as a case-worthy everyday drinker with significant aging potential for up to 15+ years.
