Cora - Pinot Grigio 'Colline Pescaresi' IGT, Abruzzo, Italy 2020 Incredible Value High Quality Pinot Grigio - Fresh, Fun, Uncomplicated Deliciousness! Cora Pinot Grigio comes from 100% estate-grown fruit in the heart of Abruzzo, including some older vines planted in pergola abruzzese. They are certified sustainable for their farming practices-- no herbicides; no irrigation; limiting copper use, soil compaction, and CO2 emissions. The best part is, it's delicious! We're absolutely blown away by the quality of fruit, the 2020 is a pure expression of both the varietal and region. Aromas of white flowers, crisp pear, golden apple, and honeysuckle. The palate is dry, wonderfully fresh, with clean fruit, clean minerals, and a touch of salinity. An excellent everyday quaffer that would be amazing with lighter pasta dishes, soft cheeses, or grilled fish. Newsletter Special - $8.99
Domaine du Cayron - Gigondas, Southern Rhone, France 2019 Jeb Dunnuck - 94 Points! - Tasted out of bottle, the 2019 Gigondas is another gem and reminds me a little of the 2010, only with a touch more accessibility at this stage. Classic crème de cassis, sappy garrigue, pepper, and basil notes give way to a medium to full-bodied, pure, concentrated Gigondas revealing ripe tannins, terrific balance, and a great finish. As with the 2020, the blend is 78% Grenache, 14% Syrah, 6% Cinsault, and 2% Mourvèdre that was destemmed and brought up in old foudre.

La Adelita - Tequila Extra Anejo The Tasting Panel Magazine - 97 Points! This ultra-premium sipping tequila is made from 100% 5-7 year old premium blue agave from a single estate boutique distillery in the Los Altos region of Jalisco just east of Guadalajara. The agave is meticulously farmed and always hand selected, only the best goes into fermentation. For the Extra Anejo, the distillate is aged in freshly toasted used French oak barrels for a period of at least 48 months before bottling. Tequila at this quality and age level is just incredible, the waves of flavors are mind-bendingly complex -- succulent waves of honeyed heather, sassafras, marzipan, and apricot nectar, flavors of sweet milk chocolate and white-peppered orange blossom excite the palate. A continuing fragrance of exotic spices and vanilla envelops the senses for a memorable Cognac-like sipping experience. This is truly something special.
