Newsletter Special - $49.99 Special Offers CVNE - Rioja Imperial Gran Reserva 2015 Vinous: 95 Points - “Deep, brilliant ruby. Offers sharply defined, mineral-inflected red and dark berries, cherry liqueur, pipe tobacco, vanilla and exotic spice scents. Chewy and penetrating in the mouth, offering concentrated black raspberry, bitter cherry, boysenberry and spicecake flavors that steadily become more lively on the back half. The strikingly persistent finish features polished tannins, repeating minerality and a touch of candied flowers.”
Special Offer - $69.99 Clarice Wine Company - Pinot Noir Rosella's Vineyard 2018 Wine Enthusiast: 96 Points - Intense and pure aromas of dark boysenberry and black plum are tightly wound and focused on the nose of this bottling, with ample earthy funk to add intrigue. Smooth yet structural tannins and lively acidity enable the baked berry, light game, vanilla and baking spice flavors to take center stage. Drink now–2038. MATT KETTMANN Vinous: 95 Points - Dark, glistening scarlet. A powerfully scented bouquet evokes spice-tinged red and blue fruits, hibiscus, cola and woodsmoke, along with an exotic hint of blood orange. Stains the palate with concentrated, appealingly sweet raspberry, cherry and boysenberry flavors that are supported by an undercurrent of juicy acidity, which adds back-end cut. The floral and spice notes come back strong on an impressively long, gently chewy finish framed by youthfully gripping tannins
Special Offer - $74.99 Château Pape Clément - Pessac-Léognan 2018 Jeb Dunnuck: 99 Points - Coming from 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, and the rest Cabernet Franc brought up in 60% new French oak, the 2018 Château Pape Clement from Bernard Magrez is a gorgeous wine that's performing even better from bottle than barrel, which is always a good sign. Deep ruby/purple, with stunning crème de cassis and blackberry fruits as well as kaleidoscope-like notes of graphite, scorched earth, smoke, violets, and spring flowers, it offers full-bodied richness yet stays light on its feet, graceful, and almost ethereal on the palate, with integrated acidity and building yet seamless tannin's. The Cabernet Sauvignon really sings at this point, and there's almost a Médoc-like regalness here. Reminding me of a slightly more elegant 2005 (it also has similarities to the 2016), it will benefit from 4-6 years in the cellar and keep for 30+ years
Special Offer - $104.99
