Bargain White Burgundy $22.99 on sale Wine Arrives Friday 12/27 The Bourgogne Blanc 2017 is the fifth vintage in a row that we have offered this superb value in white Burgundy, and it is always one of our favorite values in its class. A huge overachiever, it's true to its Puligny origins and drinks well above its humble Bourgogne Blanc appellation and price. Raised in a sustainably farmed one hectare parcel planted in 1981, it is farmed and vinified by the Jomains with the same meticulous care and attention as its pricer Village, Premier and Grand Cru counterparts. It is crisp, focused and fresh, yet with lovely Burgundian Chardonnay character. Medium in body, precise and focused in the excellent 2017 vintage, with just a kiss of oak. It shows beautiful balance and finesse from start to finish, and is a terrific bargain to boot! Buy this "baby" Puligny Montrachet and enjoy Burgundian style and class at a fraction of the price! Plucky Cellar Note, Chris Cree MW Jomain freres et soeur in the cellar Don't miss this terrific white Burgundy value from the up and coming Domaine Jomain. The Domaine, a true family enterprise owned by brothers Philippe and Christophe Jomain along with sister Catherine, was founded in 1992 with vineyards left to them by their father. While still under the radar (the best values typically are!) they have come light years from being obscure and unknown newcomers to crafting some of the best value in white Burgundy we have tasted. They now produce wines from grapes grown in their estate vineyards ranging from Bourgogne to Batard Grand Cru, and today we are offering one of our favorites from the classic 2017 vintage. Next month prices go up due to the tariffs on certain French wines, stock up now before the increase! Join Us for New Year's Eve!
