The 2024 Colpaola Verdicchio di Matelica from Italy's Marche region is a white wine that beautifully captures the essence of its high-altitude hillside vineyard. Crafted from hand-harvested Verdicchio grapes, the wine undergoes a gentle pressing and cool fermentation, with native yeasts,  in stainless steel to preserve its vibrant floral and citrus aromas, complemented by hints of almonds, basil, and chamomile. With a pale green-gold hue, the wine exhibits a bone-dry profile with lively limestone minerality, tart citrus acidity, and refreshing mountain-grown fruit flavors, all balanced by a clean, mineral-driven finish.
