(Château Arbo, Merlot, St-Émilion, Bordeaux, France, Red) Fleshy, fruity and juicy Montage but all the components are well balanced. Tannins a little firm now but these will resolve with a further 12 months in bottle. No hurry to drink this wine. Would be a fine accompaniment to a juicy, rare, faux-filet. The estate was created in 1924, and now covers 5.5ha with 11 plots. Average vine age 36 years. Level 4 HVE certification. The wine is aged 12 months with 50% in new barrels and 50% one-year old barrels."
