“A deeper jeweled magenta, the 2023 Pinot Noir Estate blends multiple estate parcels and is perfumed with cherry liqueur, black raspberry, violets, candied flowers, and rocky earth. It’s medium-bodied, ripe, and elegant, with fine tannins and more density than the 2021 or 2022 vintages, yet it remains light on its feet.”

"This wine consistently makes a compelling case for one of the best under $50 Oregon Pinot Noirs…, sourced from three estate sites: Justice, Lewman, and the Bethel Heights estate. Winemaker Ben Casteel believes that the entry-point wine is often the most reflective of an estate’s quality, and therefore takes the assemblage of this wine as seriously as any of the others he produces. Earthborne aromatics accentuate the scent of fir tips, sea salt, and a dark, fruity tone.
