Here is the full list of everything we've offered this week including some very special offers you might have missed. Cheers! - The Plucky Team Domaine Louis Michel - Chablis 2019 Pure, Precise, and Clean - Textbook Chablis from one of the Regions Most Renowned Producers The Michel family has been cultivating their passion for tradition and the Chablis terroir since 1850. In the mid-20th century, the family stopped making wine in wooden barrels in favor of stainless steel tanks to create clean, pure, and precise Chablis without adding artificial woody flavors. Through this philosophy, combined with limited yields inspired by organic wine-growing techniques, the Domaine has developed a worldwide reputation for fine winemaking in stainless steel tanks. A firmly-rooted sense of excellence is passed down from generation to generation. Louis Michel & Fils has always been a family business and is managed today by Guillaume Gicqueau-Michel. Booker Vineyards - My Favorite Neighbor Harvey and Harriet Red Blend, Paso Robles 2019 Jeb Dunnuck 94 Points - "As to the reds, the 2019 Harvey and Harriet can be thought of as the more approachable, lush red in the lineup, and it always seems more black fruit-driven than the straight Cabernet Sauvignon. Blackberries, sweet tobacco, cedar, and some floral violet nuances define the nose, and it’s medium to full-bodied, with a beautiful texture and silky tannins. It’s a smoking value, and while it has plenty of up-front charm, it certainly has a decade or more of overall longevity." Newsletter Special - $29.09
Tyler Vineyards - Pinot Noir, Sta. Rita Hills, Santa Barbara 2020 Elegant and Honest Terroir Driven Pinot Noir of Exceptional Quality from the Masters at Tyler Vineyards Robert Parkers Wine Advocate 92 Points - "Medium ruby-purple, the 2020 Pinot Noir Sta. Rita Hills has concentrated rhubarb and blueberry preserves on the nose with wafts of cinnamon, lilac and rooibos tea leaves. The palate is delicate, chalky and fresh, with floral-laced fruits and a lifted, juicy finish. It's approachable and soft and will drink best over the next 3-5 years." Newsletter Special - $29.99
Falesco - Vitiano Rosso, Umbria, Italy 2018 "I cannot for the life of me think of another red wine from Italy that offers this quality at this super low price." - Monica Larner, Wine Advocate The Falesco Vitiano Rosso is a Super Tuscan Blend of equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Sangiovese. Falesco focused on the expression of a young red with explosive and succulent black cherry aromas. The wine has a magnificent, intense and deep ruby red color, rich but also with a balanced freshness and acidity, this wine is versatile, innovative and immediately drinkable. This is the perfect pizza/burger/pasta wine, and very flexible for numerous food combinations. Dont let the price fool you, at $11 this succulent wine from the sunny Umbrian countryside way over delivers for the price. Newsletter Special - $10.99 Special Offers Hirsch Vineyards - Pinot Noir The Bohan Dillon Sonoma Coast 2019 Wine Enthusiast: 95 Points - This wine is such an outstanding value for outstanding quality, it's crazy. Bright, effusive and lingering in freshly picked berry spice, it offers tension and verve on the palate, showing balanced acidity and lovely, complex accents of lavender and white pepper Special Offer - $36.99 Fattoria Le Pupille (Elisabetta Geppetti) - Fattoria Le Pupille (Elisabetta Geppetti) Maremma Toscana Saffredi 2019 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 97+ "My article on icon wines from Tuscany focuses primarily on releases from the 2018 vintage. Fattoria le Pupille releases its top wine, the 2019 Saffredi, earlier than the rest. This blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot and 4% Petit Verdot is explosive. The percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon has been slightly increased in this vintage (and we can expect the same in the warm 2020 vintage that saw the percentage of Merlot further reduced). This 2019 expression boasts a very compact and powerful quality of fruit with deep intensity, thick layering and a velvety texture. This is a real beauty that should be put aside for a few more years of aging. Special Offer - $89.99
Dunn Vineyards - Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2018 Vinous: 94 Points - The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is a gorgeous wine, especially for Dunn fans who want a wine to drink that won't take forever to come around. Dark and savory, with terrific depth, the 2018 is full of character. Black cherry, lavender, chocolate, sage, mint and cloves all open in the glass. The 2018 has just enough grip to have a good amount of classic structure, but not to the point of being forbidding. The Napa Cabernet is about 55% Howell Mountain and 45% Coombsville fruit. The 2018 is beautifully done and an absolute delight Special Offer - $99.99
Trimbach - Riesling Cuvée du Troiscentquatrevingdixieme Anniversaire 2016 Wine Enthusiast: 95 Points - Notes of petrol and pear are focused and intense on the nose. The palate is bright and lemony, with a silky smoothness. A long, puckery finish leaves a tingly sensation, as well as delicious notes of dill, fennel frond and eucalyptus. This wine is a bit of a slow burner and could easily keep aging, but there’s plenty here to enjoy and discover now. Special Offer $49.99
